Leading Pediatric Specialist Benard Dreyer, MD, Elected as New President of the American Academy of Pediatrics

Benard P. Dreyer, MD, FAAP, a longtime and distinguished member of the NYU Langone Medical Center faculty, was elected as the new president of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Dr. Dreyer assumes the office of AAP president-elect on Jan. 1, 2015. Dr. Dreyer currently serves as chief of the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, as well as a pediatric hospitalist at NYU Langone Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital Center, where he started the Pediatric Hospitalist Service.
