NYU Langone Named Among U.S. Hospitals With “Great Orthopaedic Programs” By Becker’s Hospital Review
The Hospital for Joint Diseases at NYU Langone Medical Center (HJD) was named one of the best orthopaedic programs in the U.S. by Becker's Hospital Review “60 Hospitals with Great Orthopedic Programs” listing. Of the nearly 5,800 hospitals registered with the American Hospital Association, HJD is among 60 selected by Becker’s for consistently providing excellent orthopaedic care with a high level of service, maintaining an outstanding local and national reputation and treating a high volume of orthopaedic cases. Only one percent of all hospitals nationwide were highlighted by Becker’s.
HJD is one of the nation’s leading orthopaedic and rheumatologic specialty hospitals and is currently ranked among the nation’s top 10 hospitals for both orthopaedics and rheumatology by U.S. News & World Report in their 2011-2012 annual survey of “Best Hospitals” in America. HJD offers one of the most advanced orthopaedic programs in the region for musculoskeletal disorders and has the largest pediatric orthopaedic program in New York City. In addition, HJD is accredited by The Joint Commission and the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Learn more at http://hjd.med.nyu.edu/.
