State Senator Liz Krueger will kick off a Summer Blood Drive by donating blood at NYU Medical Center at 10:00 am, July 10th. |

July 10, 11, and 12th, Senator Krueger and NYU Medical Center will hold a blood drive to offset the annual summer blood shortage. |

Why: |
Although accidents requiring blood transfusions increase in the summer months, blood donations decline by 10% - 15%. |
