NYU Researcher is a Recipient of 2008 NIH Director's Pioneer and New Innovator Award

The National Institutes of Health announced today that it has increased its support of high-impact research with 2008 NIH Director’s Pioneer and New Innovator Awards to 47 scientists.
Among the recipients is Timothy Cardozo, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor of pharmacology at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Cardozo will use the funding to design novel molecules intended to slow or kill malaria parasites.
